Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Analyze the potential of targeting pathways and signaling cascades such as Akt and heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) for multiple myeloma therapy
  • Assess Hsp90 inhibition as a potential novel treatment approach for multiple myeloma
  • Evaluate the role of cytogenetics, proteomic analysis, and FISH analysis in myeloma risk stratification
